Adventures in Science Discovery Day
Every year at the Fernbank Museum, visiting children learn about astronomy through interactive activities, such as safely viewing and sketching the Sun.
Atlanta Botanical Gardens
The astronomy club led a special observing event, where guests at the Botanical Gardens viewed the Moon and Jupiter through telescopes and participated in some demonstrations.
Space Rocks
Guests at the Piedmont Park Community Center saw and learned about meteorites, which are clumps of metal and rock that have rained down to Earth, including a very rare instance of one that hit someone's house in Georgia.
