Miller Templeton, PHYS 1961, M.S. ANS 1963, has been recognized with the 2026 John B. Carter, Jr. Spirit of Georgia Tech Award.
Presented at the annual White and Gold Gala hosted by the Georgia Tech Alumni Association, the award celebrates alumni who demonstrate extraordinary passion and commitment to the Institute.
"Throughout my life, my basic philosophy has been to help the people around me to have more enjoyable, successful, productive, and happier lives,” says Templeton. “My 60 years at Georgia Tech allowed me to do this — influencing the lives of thousands of students and helping them to optimize their human potential. For me, this is the essence of The Spirit of Georgia Tech."
