The School of Physics at the Georgia Institute of Technology invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position as part of a comprehensive initiative in quantum science. Both experimentalists and theorists are encouraged to apply to this faculty position, with an anticipated appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor. Candidates are expected to have received a doctorate in Physics and display a strong research background in quantum condensed matter physics; atomic, molecular, and optical physics; quantum information sciences; or/and the utilization of quantum systems at the interface with other disciplines. A vigorous commitment to high-quality teaching, mentoring of students and fostering an environment of equity, diversity, and inclusion is anticipated from candidates. Appointment at senior ranks may be considered for qualified candidates that exceptionally augment our current efforts and future priorities.
